The death toll mounts inexorably. Israel killed another 100+ Palestinians since Christmas, including five medical staff and five journalists. Six babies have died of hypothermia.

With over 150,000 Gazans slaughtered, maimed and injured over the past 14 months, the scale, nature and intensity of suffering in Gaza is on a massive scale. For the past month, it has also included the deliberate destruction and ethnic cleansing of northern Gaza. 

It is particularly important that we, as Jews, give the maximum possible encouragement to our MPs to pass our views to the government and to their party leaders, and to speak out publicly on the issue.
